Pay: Starting at $17 per hour

Summary: Catholic Charities of Wichita is hiring Direct Support Professionals who want meaningful work supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and older adults in a warm, respectful Adult Day Services setting.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Support adults with daily activities, independence, and self‑advocacy
  • Help with personal care and hygiene respectfully and with dignity
  • Participate in activities, instruction, and engagement
  • Monitor and document basic health information (vitals, blood glucose as needed)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment
  • Work as part of a caring, collaborative team

Skills and Abilities
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient individuals
  • Comfortable working with adults with disabilities or aging adults
  • Able to perform moderately physical tasks
  • Willing to learn—we provide training
  • Experience in caregiving, healthcare, education, or customer service is helpful but not required.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • CNA or CMA preferred but not required
  • Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months (if hired as a driver)
